German technical background VOK®- 1121 adhesion promoter

Overview: Adherant 1121 is a compound containing aminosilane, which can improve the adhesion of coating to glass and metal substrates

Nature:

Composition: aminosilane

Appearance: colorless to yellowish clear to slightly turbid liquid

Active ingredients: about 50%

Solvent: n-butanol

Specific gravity: 0.89-0.92

Reflectivity: 1.419-1.422 (25 ℃)

Characteristics and use:

It is used to improve the adhesion of the air-dry coating film to the hard adhesion. It is extremely obvious to improve the adhesion. For example, after adding Adherant 1121 to the epoxy coating and coating it on the glass, it will not affect the adhesion after soaking in boiling water for 24 hours. If it is not added, it will completely fall off without adhesion after this test.

The water resistance, corrosion resistance and salt resistance of the film added with Adherant 1121 are greatly improved.

In addition to coating, it is more suitable for adhesives, elastomers, joint fillers, inks, etc. to improve the excellent adhesion for a long time.

Scope of application:

Paint and ink:

Epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane, acrylic acid, silicone and other systems

Substrate: glass, aluminum, copper, steel Others: adhesive, elastomer, joint filler, etc

Effect of adding amount and using method on resin solids 1-2%

The epoxy coating must be added to the curing agent. Others are mixed with resin.

Storage: storage conditions 0-40 ℃. The product should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, and the container should be kept tightly away from heat and fire sources

Note: Before coating, the grease and liquid moisture on the substrate must be wiped clean to prevent the adhesion of the material from being reduced.

VOK®- Adherant 1121 contains amine group, which will darken after long time, but will not affect the performance.
