Product introduction

VOK®- Rheological additive is an economical, universal and efficient hydrophobic modified alkali swelling thickener. It can completely or partially replace medium and high molecular weight cellulose and part of traditional ASE/HASE thickener with high cost performance

VOK®-150 provides high efficiency thickening effect, anti-settling and sagging resistance in the range of low shear rate as an associated rheological additive: ®- BENAQUA and other rheological additives are used in texture coatings such as stone paint, embossing and roughening

Effectively provide viscosity at low shear rate

Good color development

It has water dilution performance similar to HEC

Good sagging resistance and settlement resistance, reducing water diversion

Reduce splash during roller coating construction

Free of alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether (AP EO) and solvent

Low viscosity, easy to add

Addition amount and use method

The dosage of 150 in paint or ink is generally 0.1-2.0% (stock solution) by weight. The dosage of VOK®-150 in adhesive and sealant will be higher. Please test the optimum dosage before use

VOK®-150 can be used with other rheological additives to obtain the required rheological properties

It is an associated alkali swelling thickener, which needs to be adjusted with alkali (such as formaldehyde or aminomethylpropanol) to achieve full activation. In typical emulsion paint, the recommended PH value is 8.5

If there is enough mixing when adding, it can be added to the coating directly and slowly without dilution. Under the condition of low speed mixing, it is recommended to dilute with water (VOK®-150 ／ water=1 ／ 1 → 1 ／ 5, weight ratio)

Storage

VOK®-150 must be stored above 4 ℃

In case of freezing, thaw it gently, coat it between the slides, and test the particles. If any problem is found, do not use it
