VOK®-212 Polyurethane associated rheological aids for waterborne coatings

VOK®-212 is a rheological modifier with 20% solid content for water-based applications. It does not contain volatile organic compounds, polyether and polyurethane associated products. It is specially designed for emulsion paint and other water-based systems, including ink, textile, glue and sealant, which need high shear viscosity and improve film leveling in application.

VOK®-212 In the high shear viscosity range (such as ICI viscosity), it can provide high efficiency, and has the least impact on the medium shear viscosity. VOK®-212 Specially designed to provide excellent efficiency for latex resins widely used in the world market. VOK®- With good combination performance and brushing resistance, the film formation and leveling in many latex systems include: propylene, propylene acetate, styrene propylene, polyvinyl acetate and tertiary acetate resin.

VOK®-212 can be used alone in small particle emulsion system, or VOK®-255 or VOK®-266 used together.

VOK®-212 It has been proved that the formation of high shear viscosity in the new volatile organic compound free (VOC) bright and semi-light system and the enhancement of leveling effect are better than other leveling modifiers.

VOK®-212 can be used according to the state of supply, such as

If necessary, dilute it with water. It can be added at any stage in the paint manufacturing process, but it is recommended to add abrasive before paint mixing.

VOK®-212 It can be combined with other rheological aids (such as VOK®-255 or 266), alkali swelling (e.g. VOK®- 1 or 430), modified clay thickener (such as VOK®-Or BENAQUA) and cellulose thickening can be used together to increase package viscosity and strengthen sagging control.

VOK®-212 is an associative rheological additive. In general, the finer the latex particles, the better the efficiency. This is because the surface area of latex particles increases in contact with this thickener.
