VOK®-DF 7079 water-based defoamer is a mineral oil defoamer, which is used in the construction latex coating market, can provide good foam suppression and defoaming performance, and has good effect on bubble breaking during construction. It is recommended to be used in medium and low PVC coatings, low odor and low VOC environmental protection building latex coating system, and can be used in conjunction with other defoamers for texture emulsion coating system.

Characteristics and use

VOK®-DF 7079 is a VOC free defoamer for water-based architectural coatings. VOK®-DF 7079 can be used as a defoamer in the grinding and mixing stages of coatings and paints to give good foam control. At low dosage, it can provide effective foam breaking performance for matt and high-gloss coatings.

Addition amount and use method

The amount added depends on the specific situation

Generally, adding 0.3 - 1.0% of the total formula can achieve ideal results

VOK®-DF 7079 is added at the grinding or paint mixing stage.

Storage

Keep away from heat and fire sources. Place in a cool and ventilated place, and keep the container tight
