German technical background VOK®-Dispener 923 wetting dispersant
Overview: VOK®-Dispener 923 is a wetting and dispersing mark applicable to medium-low polarity solvent-based coatings
nature
(This data is only for test reference. If you need detailed product inspection technical indicators, please contact our company.)
Composition: electrically neutral polycarboxylate amine salt
Appearance: brown slightly turbid liquid
Non-volatile: 48-52%
Solvent: aromatic hydrocarbon solvent
Specific gravity: about 0.89
Refractive index: 1.488-1.498 (25 ℃)
Characteristics and use
Suitable as a wetting and dispersing agent for various inorganic pigments in solvent-based coatings
With special interfacial activity, it can help the wetting and deflocculation of the pigment. Therefore, it can greatly shorten the dispersion time, adsorb on the surface of the pigment to prevent back coarsening, and make the paint have good storage stability
It is a good activator for bentonite. Add The bentonite pre gel of VOK®-Disponer 923 has the following advantages: shortening the dispersion time; Adjustable viscosity, easy to operate; Improve anti-settling and sagging; Improve storage stability
application area
Alkyd/amine resin
Ready-mixed paint
Epoxy coating
Acid curing
Chlorinated rubber
Addition amount and use method
As dispersant: add 0.5-2.0% of the total amount of pigment
As bentonite activator: add 30-50% to bentonite
Good results can be obtained by adding before grinding
Storage
Place in a cool and ventilated place, keep the container tight and away from heat and fire sources
The storage condition is 0-40 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the appearance may be cloudy or separated. Please heat it to a clear state and mix it evenly before use
The container needs to be sealed completely before it is used
