German technical background VOK®-299 Rheological aids

Main component: polyether polyurethane

VOK®-299 is a 25% nonvolatile, non-ionic association polyurethane rheological additive without AP EO and organotin, which can effectively provide viscosity at medium and low shear rates and provide strong shear thinning rheology. It can provide good performance thickening, film sagging resistance and spray atomization when used in water-based finish paint system. It is especially suitable for water-based wood coatings and various water-based industrial coating systems used in spraying construction.

VOK®-299 and VOK®-350D The combination of can adjust the thickening rheological properties of the system, improve the high shear viscosity, reduce the low shear viscosity, and improve the rheological behavior of flow leveling. According to the requirements of different formulation systems and different construction applications for rheological properties, the balance requirements for thickening, sagging resistance, spray atomization, brushing and flow, leveling and fullness can be met by adjusting the proportion of the two additives.
