Main ingredients: organic modified refined lithium montmorillonite

VOK®-DY CE is an organic modified refined lithium montmorillonite clay rheological additive, which can be widely used in the field of water-based industrial coatings as a thickener, thixotropic agent, anti-settling agent or anti-sag agent. It can improve the medium shear viscosity and thixotropy, improve the pigment suspension and coating film sagging resistance and the water separation resistance of the system, and improve the tank opening effect. Good water resistance, color development, flow and leveling, with certain performance, thickening, improving construction operability, easy dispersion, and good storage stability of paint solution.

In waterborne acrylic paint system, VOK®-DY CE can effectively improve the sagging resistance and storage stability of the coating.

In waterborne epoxy paint system, VOK®-DY CE can effectively improve the sagging resistance and storage stability of the coating.

In acrylic varnish system, VOK®-DY CE has a slight impact on the gloss and transparency of the paint film.

Add method:

VOK®-DY CE is a powdery organic modified refined montmorillonite clay, which can be directly added to the formula system and dispersed or ground together with pigments and fillers. You can also prepare a certain concentration of pre-coagulated slurry in advance, and then add the pre-coagulated slurry to the formula at any stage.

VOK®-DY CE can usually be prepared into a 5-8% concentration (weight ratio) of pre-coagulated slurry,

VOK®-DY CE is gradually added into a clean dispersion tank with only water under mixing, and it is enough to disperse (or grind) at a high speed for about 30 min or the required fineness. If the pre gel needs to be stored for use, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of anti-corrosion and mildew inhibitor, such as mb-11, when preparing the pre setting slurry, and use it up as soon as possible.
