About ‘egoma’ and ‘egoma’ oil

Egoma is wild sesame seed, which is genus of perilla, beefsteak leaf. It has been used in Japanese cuisine from Jomon period, about 165,000 years ago.

Egoma oil contains unsaturated fatty acid and alpha-linolenic acid that was found brain and nerve systems.

This Egoma oil was processed with traditional natural squeeze method (without using any chemicals), and mainly contains alpha-linolenic acid.

Alpha-linolenic acid is omega-3 oil, which prevents excessive intake of omega-6 oil (eg: soy been oil). Also alpha-linolenic acid is essential especially in our current daily life because it transform into EPA or DHA in your body.

3% of sesame oil was added to this oil for flavour.
