DAC088S085 is a multifunctional, universal, eight in, 8-bit voltage output, digital to analog converter (DAC) that can be powered from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, consuming 1.95 mW at 3V and 4.85 mW at 5V. DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16 pin WQFN package and a 16 pin TSSOP package. The WQFN package makes DAC088S085 the smallest octal DAC in its class.

The on-chip output amplifier allows rail to rail output, and the three wire serial interface operates at a clock frequency of up to 40 MHz throughout the entire power supply voltage range. In the power supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 3.6 V, the clock frequency of competing devices is limited to 25 MHz. Serial interface and standard SPI ™、 QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP interfaces are compatible. DAC0088S085 also provides daisy chain operation, where an unlimited number of devices can be updated simultaneously using a single serial interface.
