Maltitol liquid is a sugar-free sweetener made from high maltose syrup through hydrogenation and refining extraction. Its sweetness is lower than sucrose, better moisture-retention, acid-resistance and non-fermentation and it can not be utilized by certain bacteria. Because of its particular physiological function, physical and chemical characteristics and body tolerance, maltitol is a new functional sweetener which can not be replaced by the other sweeteners.
1. Widely used in many industries such as pharmacy, non-sugar food, functional food, drinks, daily chemicals and chemical industrial etc.
2. Used in production of all kinds of candy, with its flavor taste and imoisture-retention, non-crystalline, such as candy, chocolate, etc.
3. Allowed to use in frozen food, such as ice cream, cool drink, fruit juices, etc. Also can be used as a food additive to biscuits, cakes, pickles and so on.
