DAC088S085 is a multifunctional, universal, octal, 8-bit voltage output, digital to analog converter (DAC) that can supply power from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, consuming 1.95 mW at 3V and 4.85 mW at 5V. DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16 pin WQFN package and a 16 pin TSSOP package. The WQFN software package makes DAC088S085 the smallest octal DAC in its class. The on-chip output amplifier allows for output oscillation from track to track, and the three wire serial interface operates at a clock rate of up to 40 MHz throughout the entire power supply voltage range. Within the power supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 3.6 V, competing devices are limited to a 25MHz clock rate. Serial interface and standard SPI ™、 QSPI, microwire, and DSP interfaces are compatible. DAC088S085 also provides daisy chain operation, which allows for an unlimited number of devices to be updated simultaneously using a serial interface.
