Product features and advantages
High molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for water-based inkjet. The additive can improve the wetting process of the pigment, and also improve the appearance properties of the system (color strength, gloss, haze, transparency) due to its good steric stability. It can reduce the viscosity of pigment concentrate and final inkjet, eliminate thixotropy, and achieve long-term storage stability without viscosity change. Because of its good flocculation effect, it can obtain very small pigment particle size and narrow particle size distribution, thus shortening the filter time of inkjet.
Recommended use
VOK®- Disper 9170 is suitable for various water-based inkjet inks and can stabilize most of the pigments commonly used in inkjet inks.
Recommended dosage
60-125% additive dosage (purchased form) is based on organic pigments.
90-160% additive dosage (purchased form) is based on carbon black pigment.
The above recommended dosage is for reference only, and a good dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Addition method and processing guidance
Wetting and dispersing aids should normally be added to the abrasive, only in this way can they be fully effective. For resin grinding, slowly add additives to the mixture of grinding resin and cosolvent, or shear stable lotion. For resin-free grinding, just mix the auxiliary agent with water. Pigments can only be added after the auxiliaries are completely dispersed.
