LTC ® 2351-14 is a 14 bit, 1.5Msps ADC with 6 simultaneous sampling differential inputs. The device draws 5.5 mA only from a 3V power supply and has a tiny 32 pin (5 mm × 5 mm) QFN package. Sleep off mode further reduces power consumption to 12 μ W。 The combination of low power consumption and small package makes LTC2351-14 suitable for portable applications.
The LTC2351-14 contains six separate differential inputs that are simultaneously sampled at the rising edge of the CONV signal. The six sampled inputs are then converted at a rate of 250 ksps per channel.
83 dB common mode rejection allows the user to eliminate ground loop and common mode noise by measuring different signals from the source.
The device converts 0V to 2.5V unipolar input or ± 1.25V bipolar input, depending on the status of the BIP pin. Any analog input can swing the track to the track as long as the differential input range is maintained.
According to the logic state of SEL2, SEL1 and SEL0 inputs, the conversion sequence can be simplified to convert less than 6 channels.
The serial interface sends 6 conversion results with 96 clocks to be compatible with the standard serial interface.
