Cooling tower filling, also named as cooling tower fill media, or cooling tower fill pack, or cooling tower infill, or cooling

tower filler, is made of PVC or PP plain plate, hot pressed in a certain mould and produced with different designs and sizes. It is a media located in the middle or bottom of the cooling tower. Some cooling towers would be full of the fill media, some would have half and half of the fill media, and some large cooling towers would be installed 1 layer of the fill media in the bottom. It is widely used in cooling towers, especially in industrial cooling towers, to increase the contact area between hot water and air and to extend the time of water flow, thus to help reduce the water temperature quickly.

Due to the special application environment, the cooling tower fill is with the feature of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, large contact area and long service time.

Round cooling tower fill is a kind of fill suitable for round cooling tower. When install it, just loose the rill rolls from a fasten packing fill to be a space packing fill.

If the unit roll weight is 15kgs, the round PVC fill roll diameter is 750mm, then we can load 3500kgs in a 20 feet container. If the unit roll weight is 15kgs, the round PP fill roll diameter is 1000mm, then we can load 1500kgs in a 20 feet container. The reason of the same weight but with different roll diameters is that the PP material is less flexible and larger hardness than the PVC material.
