Included in this screen is the control of internal peripheral cards, as well as various interrupts. From this menu, the user can also determine if the system’s plug-and-play is enabled or disabled. NOTE: Changes in this screen can cause the system to malfunction. If problems are noted after changes have been made, reboot the system and access the BIOS. To reset the security in the case of a forgotten password you must drain the NVRAM and reconfigure. To clear the CMOS password: 1. Turn off power to the unit. 2. Move switch S2 position 1 to On. 3. Wait approximately 5 seconds. 4. Move switch S2 position 1 to Off. 5. Power up the unit. When power is reapplied to the unit, the CMOS password will have been cleared, and the CMOS will be set to its defaults.
