If optional OEU enclosure is used, it may be configured to include other options,

including, but not limited, to a battery pack to provide power to the NGC,

communication equipment, solar power charger and additional I/O.

Two enclosures are commonly used for the NGC installations: the 6470 OEU

enclosure and the 6770 OEU enclosure.

The 6470 installation is for AC to DC or DC sites requiring communication

equipment. There is no battery backed option in this installation.

The 6770 enclosure supports battery backed6 operation for the NGC, AC to DC

power or DC to DC power and communication equipment. The XFC/XRC

electronic board provides a battery charger/regulator for the system.

Following local codes for installation, these units would normally be located in a

division 2 or general purpose area. The units may be mounted on a 2” pipe or

mounted on a flat surface, such as a wall.

• Power Supply Kit for 6470

• 120VAC/12VDC power supply (2018554-001)

• 240VAC/12VDC power supply (2018554-002)

• 24VDC/12VDC DC to DC converter (2018554-003)
