The blasting & painting rooms for shipbuilding are divided into two systems: Blasting system and painting system. The ship body sections will be delivered into painting rooms after blasting to accept manual painting.
(1) Blasting System
- Sand (shot) blasting, sand (shot) removing, dust removing, abrasive circle cleanness, air drying, air dehumidifying and so on in blasting system.
- The blasting system adopts auto continuous type sand blasting machine. The quantities of sand blasting machines and spray guns are decided by productivity from customers.
- After blasting, most sand (shots) in the ship body sections will be removed out by hand and the rest of sand (shots) will be removed by shots vacuum suction machine.
- The sand (shots) on floor will be sent to shots circle system by loading vehicle.
- The abrasive circle system is made of belt conveyor, bucket elevator, air wash type separator, screw conveyor, abrasive storage bin, shots distributing system and dust removing system and so on.
- The dust removing system is made of horizontal type pulse cartridge filter dust collector, air tubes and dehumidifier etc..
(2) Painting system
- The painting system adopts USA GRACO high pressure airless paint pump system and workers do spray painting to ship body sections by hand.
- The paint mist treatment system adopts dry type paint mist filtering house to absorb paint mist.
- The air heating purifying adopts gas burning type. The burner brand is Italy brand.
(3) Electrical Control System
- It adopts OMRON C200HG PLC control.
- It adopts GSD ammeter to show the electric currents of air fans.
- The output standard of GSD ammeter is 4-20mA. The current signal will come to PLC modulus to convert module.
- It adopts pressure differential displayer to show the cleanness situation of air wash type separator and cartridge filters.
- It adopts FAST pneumatic elements.
- It adopts central control station and partial control station.
- It adopts E-STOP button for all partial control station.
- It adopts failure alarming function in abrasive recycle system.
- It adopts MSA product for paint mist density alarming device in painting room.
