Dry-strength Additives, Anionic-Cationic polyacrylamide resin
Anionic-Cationic polyacrylamide resinAnionic-Cationic polyacrylamide resin is prepared by copolymerizing acrylamide monomers with special comonomers
which consist of cationic and anionic substitutes. Relying on the controlled ratio of positively-charged and negatively-
charged groups on the polymer chain, anionic-cationic polyacrylamide resin can efficiently increase paper dry-strength
without causing unfavorable charge imbalance in pulp.
Characteristics
1.Promote the bonding strength and bonding area among fibers.
2.Prevent charge imbalance in pulp.
3.Less alum requirement.
4.Usage over a wide pH range.
5.Retention aid for rosin size and other fillers.
6.Assist in drainage efficiency & increase machine speed.
Application
1.Printing and writing grades.
2.Packaging and board grades.
