In current corrugated industry, most manufacturers apply starch-based adhesives as paperboard adhesion materials. However, the adhesive properties are strongly affected by quality variation in natural starch, which may result in bonding problems in corrugated boards. Thus, the chemical additives becomes very important to glue preparation to obtain better glue performance and special functionalities.

However, most traditional auto glue kitchens were not equipped with liquid chemical addition channels, which increases difficulties in auto application. In order to provide the best solution to this limitation, CHC designs and applies a durable and functional auto liquid addition unit with original glue kitchens. Not only the auto addition quantity is precisely controlled, but also initiation time is coordinated with glue kitchen running steps. CHC automatic liquid addition unit offers a simple and accessible way to automate the original glue mixing system with liquid chemical application.  

CORE CONCEPTION

The auto liquid addition unit is initiated by receiving the signal created from an identified running step within glue mixing process. Then, the diaphragm pump is started to deliver liquid chemical into the mixing tank in the pre-set quantity. After addition completed, the unit is return to stand-by condition and ready for next batch mixing.
