Starch Adhesive Crosslinking Agent
CHC cross-linking agents are synthesized by reacting special organic comonomers with inorganic compounds. The resultant aqueous resins, while added into the starch adhesives, can form the three-dimensional bonding with the hydroxyl groups on starch molecular chains. Thus, the mechanical performance and physical properties of the starch adhesive can greatly improved. It means that the corrugating speed and paperboard quality can be enhanced apparently.
Instead of using modified starch for preparing the adhesives, CHC recommends that the corrugating process utilizes the adhesives from natural starch in the formula consistent with our suggestion. In combination of CHC cross-linking agents, the resulting adhesives can perform better operability, adhesive strength and stability.
