High Methylated Melamine Resins (MM-803)

 

Description

 

MM-803 series is a specially-designed hexamethoxymethyl melamine resin (HMMM). With its precisely controlled functionality, MM-803 series shows high reactivity to polyfunctional coating resins. It is recommended for the application in conventional high solids and solvent-borne coating systems. In comparison with butylated aminocrosslinkers, only one-half amount of MM-803 series is required to achieve superior physical and chemical properties of cured coatings, which includes flexibility, gloss retention, hardness, impact resistance and MEK rub resistance. Among numerous types of methylated amino resins, MM-803 series is the most versatile methylated melamine resin.
