VOK ®- Disper 140 is a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent based coatings and pigment concentrates. It is especially suitable for stabilizing pigments in nitrocellulose (NC) and thermoplastic acrylic acid (TPA) systems.

Particular attention

In the baking system, VOK ®- Disper 140 may adversely affect the adhesion of the paint to the steel substrate. In addition, before being used for white baking varnish, check VOK ®- Whether Dispatch 140 causes yellowing. VOK is recommended if yellowing occurs ®- Disper 180 stabilized titanium dioxide.

Product features and advantages

The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance. Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can obtain high gloss and enhance color strength. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. Due to the reduction of viscosity, the fluidity is improved and the pigment content can be increased.

Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:

Inorganic pigment: 15-20%

Titanium dioxide: 3-4%

Organic pigment: 30-80%

Carbon black: 40-80%
