Overview1 EPON interface (SC/UPC), 4GE, 2 POTS, external dual antenna (300M WiFi), polycarbonate hull, DC12V/1.5A, external adaptor are all included in the built-in CATV GPON ONT.
The GPON ONT CATV is a wireless and voice-enabled smart HGU. It is designed for the broadcast and television industry’s integrated multi-service network. The worldwide standard IEEE802.3ah, the PRC Communication Industry Standard (YD/T 1475-2006), and China Telecom EPON Technical Requirement CTC are all met by the built-in CATV ONT.
The GPON technology is the most recent generation of access network technology. GPON’s standard protocol is ITU-T G.984. The GPON standard differs from previous PON standards in several ways. To achieve higher bandwidth and efficiency, it employs larger, variable-length packets. Frame segmentation in GPON allows for efficient packaging of user traffic. This improves the quality of service (QOS) for voice and video communication traffic that is susceptible to delays. GPON networks deliver the stability and performance required for commercial services while also offering a cost-effective alternative to deliver home services. GPON enables Fiber To The Home (FTTH) deployment at a low cost, driving worldwide expansion.
