Overview

GEPON ONU has 1 PON port, 4×10/100BASE-T ports ,one CATV output and WiFi capability are all included on the ONU.

The 4FE ONU is primarily intended for FTTH and FTTO applications. It supports the 1000Base-PX20 standard, which has a maximum optical splitting ratio of 1:64 and a distance of 20 kilometers, as well as one uplink GE PON port. Its collaboration with OLT allows it to create a flexible network topology and maintain it, as well as deliver entire FTTx solutions. The CATV WiFi ONU has a built-in CATV receiver for receiving analog or DVB TV broadcasts.

With downlink wavelengths of 1550nm and 1490nm and uplink wavelengths of 1310nm, the GEPON ONU uses single fiber WDM technology. To transmit data and CATV service, only one-core fiber is required.
