12mm toughened glass has 5 times more strength than normal anneal glass. To produce this kind of glass, you need to cut the 12mm float glass to your desired size and then grind it(fine polished or matt polished), and then put the 12mm float glass into tempering machine, with heating to around 700 degree and then cool down rapidly by a wind jet. Thus making the surface into compression and the inner side into tension.
