Our company specializes in the production of air-core reactors of various specifications. The product voltage ranges from 0-35KV and the capacity from 0-3500KVAR. They are often used in reactive compensation, harmonic filtering, current limiting and other occasions. Our air-core reactors use multi-layer winding parallel tube structure. It is separated from the encapsulation by drawing bars to form a ventilation airway, which has good heat dissipation. At the same time, multiple round conductors with small cross-sections are equally wound, and the eddy current loss and magnetic flux leakage loss are small. In terms of insulation, we use a polyester film multi-layer half-stacked package on the surface of the conductor, which has high insulation strength. Windings are tightly wrapped with epoxy-impregnated glass fiber, and it is cured at high temperature to form a rigid body. Its mechanical strength is high, it can withstand the impact of short-circuit current without damage, and the coil surface has an anti-ozone UV protection layer, anti-aging, and resistance of various bad weather. Air-core reactors are mainly divided into series reactors, filter reactor, current limiting reactor, shunt reactor.

 

Product Features

1.The special oil-free structure of dry-type air-core reactor eliminates the shortcomings of oil-immersed reactors such as oil leakage and flammability, and it ensures safe operation. There is no iron core, no ferromagnetic saturation, and of good linearity of inductance.

2.The computer optimization design of dry-type air-core reactors can quickly and accurately design the most ideal structural parameters (the number of coil turns, temperature, loss, electric power, structural size, etc.) according to the different requirements of users.

3.Dry-type air-core reactor is a cylindrical structure with multiple layers of windings connected in parallel. The polyester pull-out strips between the encapsulations form a ventilation air passage, which is convenient for air convection to form natural cooling, good heat dissipation and low coil temperature.

4.Multi-strand parallel with round& small cross-section conductors is used for the winding, which can significantly reduce eddy current loss and magnetic leakage loss. The surface of each wire is wrapped with multiple layers of polyester film with good insulation performance to make it have high insulation strength.

5. The windings are tightly sealed with epoxy resin-impregnated glass fiber and cured at high temperature to make them have good integrity, high mechanical strength, strong ability to withstand short-term current impact, and meet product dynamic and thermal stability requirements.

6.Aluminum star terminal frame with high mechanical strength are used, the eddy current loss is small, which can meet the requirements of the number of coil turns. All lead wires are welded to the star terminal arm by argon arc welding without screw connection, which improves the reliability of operation.

7.The entire inner and outer surface of the reactor is coated with a special protective layer that is resistant to ultraviolet rays and aging. It has strong adhesion and can withstand harsh outdoor weather conditions. The working life of the reactor can be as long as 30 years.

8.Dry-type air-core reactors are light in weight, small in size, convenient to transport, and flexible in installation. Both three-phase vertical layout and three-phase horizontal layout are available, which can greatly reduce infrastructure investment for outdoor use.

9.Dry-type air-core reactors operate safely and with low noise, and do not require frequent maintenance.

10. According to user requirements, its inductance can be made to be adjustable.

 

Installation method

Dry-type air-core reactors should be installed on concrete foundation. Common installation methods include three-phase vertical arrangement, two-phase stacking, one-phase horizontal arrangement, and three-phase horizontal arrangement with “linear " or "three rectangle structure " shape. The installation location can be outdoor or indoor.
