EN SVG Static var generator can detect the loaded current in a real time through the external current transformer, extracting the reactive power contents of the loaded current calculated by the internal DSP, and then control the PWM signal generator to deliver signals to the internal IGBT, which makes the converter bring the reactive compensated current, meeting the requirement based on the setting values and finally realize the purpose of dynamic reactive compensation.

Three phase unbalance compensation

The switching times can be over 10000 times per second, with quick response and dynamic compensation.

Dynamic reactive power compensation device

(SVC- static var compensation)

 

EN SVC dynamic reactive power compensation device, the main circuit uses non-inrush current contactor or thyristor non-contact switch to switch the tuning capacitor bank (tuning reactance + capacitor bank). The control part is based on DSP technology, combining the theory of instantaneous reactive power with fast Fourier transform (FFT), highly-speed analyze voltage and current harmonic components in the system, real-time track and instantaneously compensate reactive power in the power grid, zero-crossing switching control technology of the tuning capacitor bank fully realize single-phase and three-phase tuning capacitor bank switching with no transient state and high-speed, so that the reactive power is dynamically compensated. Zero-crossing switching technology does not include transients and harmonics. It has the characteristics of no closing surge current, no arc reignition, no operating overvoltage, capacitors can be switched on again without discharging, fast tracking of reactive power changes, frequent switching, and fast dynamic response. Grouped multi-level compensation can be realized one time, and unbalanced load can be phase-compensated. Dynamic response time of dynamic reactive power compensation device: less than 20ms, power factor increased to above 0.92.
