TBBX/J high-voltage reactive power local compensation device (hereinafter referred to compensation device) is indoor type, rated voltage 6-10kV, frequency 50Hz, for local reactive power compensation for three-phase AC motor with rated voltage 6-10KV. It reduces electrical energy consumption, improve grid voltage quality, and improve motor starting performance. The capacitor in the compensation device is turned on when the motor start, cut off when stop. It is a novel energy-saving product with a compensation effect more better than centralized compensation.
It is suitable for reactive power compensation of high-power motors in smelting, steel, mining, building materials, cement, water supply and drainage and transportation industries.
Features
1.The products are divided into simple type and vacuum contactor switching type. The simple product capacitor is directly connected to the motor terminals through a fuse. The compensation device current does not exceed 90% of the no-load current of the motor to avoid overvoltage damage to the motor due to self-excitation after shutdown. Power factor after compensation may not be too high, generally around 0.9. Using vacuum contactor switching, the compensation capacity can be larger, and the power factor can be more than 0.95 after compensation.
2.The vacuum contactor is switched on and off, and the motor switch is switched on and off, and the compensation device is also input, the device vacuum switch tripping, the capacitor off and the discharge coil are automatically discharged.
3.The shell of the compensating device is combination of cabinet sections or made of bending and welding steel plates. The upper part of the cabinet is the instrument door where the instrument is installed, and the lower part is the steel door with safety lock.
4.Compensation device cable/bus entry method: cable lower entry method or overhead bus upper entry method.

3. The ambient air temperature is-10 ℃~+ 40℃.
4. No severe mold, no corrosive gas, no severe dust, no electric dust, and no severe vibration at the installation site.
5.Relative humidity: daily average is not more than 95%, monthly average is not more than 90%.
6. The device is only suitable for the continuous working system of the motor, and there is no large impact load. It can’t be used for reverse connection for braking. It should not be used on the motor load of adjusting control.
