Chamber’s Application

The design and use life of solar cell module is about 20-30 years. The reliability test is to simulate the design and validation of land solar photovoltaic module (crystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, thin film, concentration) so that the module can operate for more than 20 years in general climate. The specifications require solar cells to be carried out: Thermal cycle test, Humidity Freeze test, Damp heat. In order to confirm that solar cells can withstand the influence of temperature below zero with stage after high temperature and humidity, and fatigue and thermal failure caused by repeated temperature changes, and to determine the ability of solar cells to withstand long-term moisture penetration, the design and capability of test equipment should meet the requirements of relevant specifications: IEC61215, IEC61646, IEC62108, UL1703, IEC1513, IEC61730 Only then.


 

Test Requirements

1. Reduce condensation on the surface during module testing.

2. No condensate droplets should be placed on the top of the cabinet.

3. Time setting power supply timing switch control.

4. Sample rack inclined 5 degrees

Characteristic Introduction

Thermal cycle test

In the test space with wind speed no less than 2m. S-1, the temperature of photovoltaic module circulates between -40+/-2 Centigrade and 85+/-2 Centigrade. The change rate between the highest temperature and the lowest temperature does not exceed 100 Centigrade/H, and keeps stable for at least 10 minutes at each extreme temperature, and each cycle time does not exceed 6 hours.

 

Humidity Freeze test

At room temperature, the photovoltaic module is put into the environmental test box, so that the inclination of the photovoltaic module with the horizontal plane is not less than 5 degrees. Close the door and complete 10 cycles as shown below. The highest and lowest temperatures should be within the set value of 2 Centigrade, and the relative humidity should be kept within 5% R H at all temperatures above room temperature.

 

 

Damp heat

At room temperature, the photovoltaic module is put into the environmental test box, so that the inclination of the photovoltaic module with the horizontal plane is not less than 5 degrees. Close the door and test under the following harsh conditions:

Test temperature: 85 Centigrade +/-2Centigrade

Relative humidity: 85%RH +/-5%RH
