Brief introduction: 

Air floatation machine is the use of small bubbles or small bubbles to make impurities in the medium surface of the machine. 

The air floatation device can be used for some fine water bodies whose specific gravity is close to that of water, whose self-weight is difficult to sink or float. 

At present, in the aspect of water supply and drainage, most of the water quality to be treated are light suspended particles except some raw water bodies with more sand and sewage with heavy mechanical impurities. 

For example: algae in lakes, reservoirs and some rivers; plant residues and fine colloidal impurities; dye particles in the printing and dyeing industry; short fibers in papermaking and chemical fiber industries; droplets of petroleum and organic solvents in oil refining and chemical industries; 

Heavy metal ions in electroplating and pickling wastewater; electrophoretic paint wastewater and so on; are light particles whose specific gravity is very close to water. 

For these raw water, if the traditional precipitation method is used, the effect must be very poor, especially under the condition of low temperature in winter, because the coagulation and hydraulic conditions become worse, the treatment effect is more difficult to guarantee. 

It can be imagined that if the flocs that are difficult to precipitate are forced to sink, they are bound to get twice the result with half the effort. It would be better to artificially introduce bubbles into the water body to make them adhere to the flocs, thus greatly reducing the overall density of the flocs. 

And make use of the rising speed of the bubble to force it to float, so as to achieve rapid solid-liquid separation. 

In this sense, the emergence of air flotation technology is a revolution in gravity sedimentation method, which opens up a new field of solid and liquid separation technology.
