Air floatation technology has been widely used in water supply and drainage and wastewater treatment in recent years. It can effectively remove light flotation flocs which are difficult to precipitate in wastewater.

How it works: 

Pollutants in sewage can be divided into dissolved organic matter and non-soluble substance (that is, SS), dissolved organic matter can be converted into non-solution hydrolytic substance under certain conditions. 

One of the methods of sewage treatment is to add coagulants and flocculants to convey most of the dissolved organic matter into non-soluble substances, and then remove all or most of the non-soluble substances (that is, SS) to achieve the purpose of purifying sewage. 

The main way to remove SS is to use air flotation. 

After adding medicine, the sewage enters the mixed zone of air floatation and comes into contact with the released dissolved air and water, which makes the flocs adhere to the fine bubbles and then enter the air floating zone. 

The floc floats to the surface of the water under the action of air buoyancy to form scum. After the water in the lower layer flows to the clear water tank through the water collector, part of the water flows back to dissolve the gas, and the remaining water flows out through the overflow port.
