Multifunctional protective agent KDW-68 is made from fluoric radical group〔-(CF2)CF3〕and hydroxyl silicone resin as its film formation substance by special technology to hybridise the macromolecular material with inorganic nano materials and then mix with the compound of additives and organic solvent. It well combines the advantage of both fluorine’s characteristics of low surface energy, small friction coefficient, good resistance to stain & corrosion and silicone material’s good resistance to ageing, good insulation and hydrophobicity.

---To make cleaning and anti-pollution flashover treatment at the same time

Application description:

KDW-68 is mainly applied for the clean-up and protection of power equipment's external insulation (such as glass insulator, porcelain insulator, composite insulator and silicone rubber anti-pollution flashover coating), it also functions well for the surface protection against corrosion and oxidation of steel structure equipment. After cleaned by KDW-68 , the self-cleaning and anti-pollution flashover properties of the equipment surface will be improved evidently, moreover, it can to some extent resistance to anti-icing and freezing rain. As RS-80 will form a layer of low surface energy nanometer protective film on the cleaned object's surface, this protective film could make the equipment as bright as new one. This product can also renovate the deteriorated surface of composite insulator and anti-pollution flashover coating so that to recover its initial property and strengthen its self-cleaning ability.

Technical datas:

1. Appearance: limpid transparent liquid, without impurity substance.

2. Cleaning effect: very effective, especially for oil dirt. Non-corrosiveness, has not harm to

the cleaned equipment and its surface.

3. Hydrophobicity:the coating surface hydrophobicity grade is HC1.

4. Self-cleaning property: peel strength between RS-80 coating and imitate dirt layer is less

than 3Kpa (Grade 1).

5. Ageing resistance: product has passed 5000 hours accelerated ageing test.

6. Adhesion:The adhesion of RS-80 coating with porcelain or glass surface is grade 1 by

circle cut test method.

7. Chemical reagent resistance: put into 25℃ acidic, alkali and salt reagent (3%) 24 hours,

the coating will no peel off, curled, bubble and change color.

8. Oil resistance: put into 100℃ transformer oil 24 hours, the coating will no peel off, curled,

bubble and change color.

9. Power frequency wet flashover voltage experiment comparison: comparing the

frequency wet flashover voltages of insulators with and without RS-80 coating and find

there is not reduction.

10. Anti-pollution flashover performance (by salt spray test): in the same testing condition

of 20kg/m3 salinity, the flashover voltage of insulator with RS-80 coating is at least two

times more than the flashover voltage of insulator without RS-80 coating.

11. Surface dry time: less than 15mins(25℃±2℃,40%～70%RH)

12. Hardening time: less than 45mins(25℃±2℃,40%～70%RH)

13. Crosslinking time: it takes 7 days for the coating to crosslinked in best status

14. Freezing rain and ice coating resistance: compared with the insulator without RS-80

coating, the insulator with RS-80 coating can retard the freezing rain ice coated effect

and accelerate the ice shelling off when melts

Application scope:

For outdoor: it can clean, renovate and do self-cleaning the surfaces of silicone rubber tubes, composite insulator and RTV/PRTV coating. For indoor: it can use to clean, anti-pollution flashover treat and anti-condensation treat the surfaces of porcelain or glass insulators and epoxy resins insulation items; it can also use to clean, renovate and perform self-cleaning the surfaces of silicone rubber tubes, composite insulator and RTV/PRTV coating.
