Pelletizing is the process of making waste materials into solid fuel. The objects are used for burning purposes.
Wood pellet can be made from any type of agro-forestry waste: groundnut shell, sugarcane bio-gases, caster shells/stalk, saw dust, coffee husk, paddy straw, sunflower stalk, cotton stalks, tobacco
waste mustard stalk, jute waste, bamboo dust, tea waste, wheat straw, palm husk, soybeans husk,
coir pitch barks/straws, rice husks, forestry wastes, wood chips and many other agro wastes.
Making process as following:
It is often in this process: crushing wood chips---drying system---making pellets---cooling system--do the package
1. Crushing Process:
depending on the different input material, we fit out the suitable Crushing machines. If the raw material is big logs,
we need to split the log into small woods, and then are chipped into wood chips, our BX-Series Chipping and Crushing Machine is your best choices; While SFSW-series gear plate crusher is widely used to crush wood chips with high moisture into sawdust.
2. Drying Process:
The best moisture content to pelletizing is about 14-16%. Our new Air-Current Rotary Dryer is made up of Burning Stove and Main Rotary Dryer, which can realize to reduce the moisture
from 50% to 10%, and save about 30% energy consumption comparing the old Rotary Dryer.
3. Pelletizing Process:
Wood Pellet Machine is the most important equipment, which have the following features: This equipment use sawdust,
crops straw (corn stalk, beanstalk, sorghum culm and cotton stalk, rape stalk, sunflower culm and peanuts seedling),
the chaff, grass, shrubs, twigs, bamboo sawdust, bag asse as raw materials, use this machine high temperature extrude
into granules. Products are cylindrical.
4. Cooling Process:
After the pelletizing process, the temperature of the wood pellet is about 60-80 degree, and the moisture content of the wood pellet is about 15%, so we need use Cooler to reduce about 3-4% moisture, such this the wood pellet is easy to store.
5. Packing Process:
After cooling, the wood pellet will not directly enter into the fuel process, avoiding the wood pellet affected with
damp.The packing process is necessary.
