2.Wireless Parking Data Collector
WPDC-14x wireless parking data collector acts as a gateway between the parking management platform and the wireless parking lots detection network formed among WPSD sensors and WR routers. WPDC-14x manages all the sensors and routers, as well as provides data interface to user system. Rosim provides C version for compact small size and W version for water proof.
3.Wireless Router
WR-14x wireless router is designed to form a wireless mash network above the whole parking lot to enlarge the wireless transmission range between WPSD sensor and WPDC collector, and enhance the robustness of the wireless parking space detection network as well.
this system monitors the occupancy of vehicles in indoor/outdoor parking lot, each parking space is installed a wireless parking space detector which feeds back occupancy information to parking data collector. Therefore,the real-time parking occupany information can be stored in a data collector for statistical analysis and then it will be uploaded to an online server of external access for car park owner to improve the efficiency of the car park so that parking utilization and enforcement efficiency are optimized.

The customer reviewed three possible technical options of vehicle detection to solve its issue:
1.Inductive loop: Installation is costly and requires long parking shutdown. On top of that, regular recalibration is needed to keep an acceptable occupancy reliability indication. For the client, a completely unsupervised system was a key requirement, so that loop counting was dismissed.
2.Ultrasonic detection: Installation is even longer and needed infrastructure (cables on ceiling and IT infrastructure) was not adapted to a commercially interesting retrofit.
3.Wireless detection: In order to limit costs and neutralization time of parking spaces, the customer chose to deploy wireless sensors on its indoors parking spaces. This kind of sensor is perfect for the outdoor parking lot and on-street parking lot. Each parking space sensor was installed in less than 5mimutes.
