Compare to other detector

The customer reviewed three possible technical options of vehicle detection to solve its issue:

1.Inductive loop: Installation is costly and requires long parking shutdown. On top of that, regular recalibration is needed to keep an acceptable occupancy reliability indication. For the client, a completely unsupervised system was a key requirement, so that loop counting was dismissed.

 

2.Ultrasonic sensor: Installation is even longer and needed infrastructure (cables on ceiling and IT infrastructure) was not adapted to a commercially interesting retrofit.

 

3.Magnetic parking sensor: In order to limit costs and neutralization time of parking spaces, the customer chose to deploy wireless sensors on its indoors parking spaces. This kind of sensor is perfect for the outdoor parking lot and on-street parking lot. Each parking space sensor was installed in less than 5mimutes.
