Wireless smart car parking system that used for outdoor and indoor parking lot is develop and designed by ROSIM ITS company. And this smart car parking system is include wireless parking space detector(WPSD), wireless router (WR) and wireless parking data collector(WPDC).

1.The wireless smart car parking system working structure

The smart car parking system provides accurate measurement on occupancy of individual parking spaces and duration of the parking spots in parking lot and on-street parking spaces. WPSD (outdoor parking sensor) is embeded on each of the parking space and detect the data of the parking slots, forwarding these data to the WR. WR will receive the data by wireless transmission and transfer it to the WPDC finally.

All the transmission is based on 2.4G zigbee network wireless communication. It hardly reduce the cable puting cost and low power consumption, save the project cost for a long term. 

The Feature of smart car parking system

1) Wireless communication: there’s no need to place cables or wires as the installation of loops or ultrasonic sensor, but only pad, which makes WPSDs become the most suitable vehicle detecting solution for parking lot, especially for outdoor parking;

2)High accuracy: the ROSIM outdoor parking sensor featured with dual magnetic and optic detection technology. The combination of the two vehicle detection technology, as well as a sophisticated algorithm, greatly improves the accuracy and efficiency of the detection. accuracy>99%

3)Fast installation: it just needs about 2 minutes for installation of each outdoor parking sensor because of  the adoption of pad installation;

4)work in all weather: Because the wireless smart car parking system has strong characteristics of waterproof, snow defense, anti-press, anti-corrosion and strong anti-jamming capacity,it can normally work in all weather;

5)Average 3 years life span( replaceable);

6)Easy to maintain: OTA firmware updating over the air and one year gurante period

7) Low operation consuming: due to the ultra-low power design and battery supply solution, Outdoor parking sensor ’s consumed power is very lower than any other sensor in the market. This appears more and more significantly to our environments;

we have 2 types, one is surface mounted, the other is embedeed inside the parking space.

3 years for the surface mounted type, 6 years for embedded type,and the battery can be replaceable.
