What is ‘kan-ro ni’?
‘Kan-ro ni’ is one of simmered Japanese dishes. (It may be similar to French glace.) Fish is grilled quickly, and stewed in soy sauce, sweet rice wine, and lots of sugar or syrup for a long time enough to have glaze on the surface of fish.
