Heat Recovery wheel
Working Principle:
The heat recovery wheel continuously rotates at 10rpm and the wheel acts as a heat storage media. When the fresh air passes through a semicircle part of the HRW, the exhaust air passes through the other semicircle part in the opposite direction at the same time. In this way, fresh air and exhaust air alternately pass through the wheel in opposite directions, and the exhaust air releases energy into the heat or cold storage media, and the fresh air will bring the energy from the heat storage media into room.
The enthalpy heat recovery wheel also ensures the transfer of humidity. The moisture separated from the return air can enter the 3A molecular sieve desiccant coating of the heat storage media, and is released when the wheel is turned to fresh air. This process of humidity transfer is also accompanied by heat transfer. The HRW can pre-cool the outdoor fresh air and dry the air in summer and pre-heat and humidify the air in winter, the efficiency can achieve more than 75%.
The molecular sieve is only 3 angstroms, the critical diameter of water molecules is 2.8 angstroms, and water molecules are very polar molecules. 3A molecular sieve has a very strong affinity for it, so it can only absorb water, and can not absorb any other compositions in air.
General Features:

◆ 2.0mm and 2.5mm wave height (honeycomb aperture height) are for option. The wheel thickness can be optional 200mm or 270mm;
◆ Optional cassette materials: factory standard is powder coating cold-rolled steel, but galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum-zinc steel cassettes are available too;
◆ Wheel dia. can be selected from Φ500mm to Φ5000mm;
◆ Wheel can be delivered with different wheel sections; Cassette can be one-piece type or split type;
◆ Highly polished surface: Within the range of 2000mm on the vertical surface, the horizontal deflection distance is less than 2mm, so that the air leakage rate can be minimized;
◆ High heat recovery rate: When facing velocity is 3.5m/s and the air resistance is 170Pa, the rated heat recovery efficiency can be as high as 79%;
◆ Built-in purge sector eliminates cross-contamination
◆ The flexible dustproof brush minimizes the heat loss, also reduces friction, and prolongs the service life of the driving motor.

Purge Sector: Why the purge sector should be added ?
With the rotating of the wheel, when the heat storage honeycomb rotates from the dirty exhaust air side into the fresh air side, the remaining dirty air in the honeycomb would be mixed into the fresh air to lead to indoor cross-pollution. At this time, the purge sector can be selected to avoid this case.
Cassette
Factory standard cassette material of HRW is SPCC cold-rolled steel with powder coating, it has features of temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength and no deformation.
