Rotary Desiccant Dehumidifier
Working Principle:
The desiccant wheel is made of activated silica gel and molecular sieve, it has strong moisture absorption, and the honeycomb structure provides a larger moisture absorption area. When the treated air to be dehumidified passes through the treatment area of the rotary desiccant rotor, the moisture of it will be adsorbed by the active silica gel to be dry air.
At the same time, the rotary desiccant wheel keeps rotating at a slow speed (12~24rpm), when it rotates to the regenerative area, the high-temperature regenerative airflow will remove the moisture from the wheel and make the desiccant wheel to be a dry wheel again. In this way, the rotary desiccant wheel continuously absorbs moisture from the wet air, then regenerated and dried, to achieve continuous dehumidification and generate stable dry air.
General Features:
(1) Desiccant Wheel: adopt well known brand rotor - PROFLUTE super silica gel molecular sieve composite wheel (specially made)
(2) Aluminum frame: Using the China domestic first aluminum alloy pre-anchor thread structure (has been patented) surface spraying, the rigidity and strength are significantly improved, the dehumidifiers after many years of use will not cause cracks due to micro deformation and performance decline
(3) Anti-cold bridge: The aluminum frame adopts anti-cold bridge measures (the cold bridge factor = TB2 level), the panels are filled with low fluorine PU foaming insulation, heat preservation effect is good, no condensation. At the same time, rubber and plastic insulation materials are attached to the inside of some low-temperature aluminum frames to further strengthen anti- cold bridge.
(4) Metal sheet of sandwich panel: Outer plate is high quality color steel thickness ≧0.5mm, 304 stainless steel outer plate is optional; Inner and bottom plate are made of 304 stainless steel ≧0.5mm; the density of polyurethane foam is 50kg/m³, and 25~50mm thickness are for option
(5) Access door: made of plastic steel frame and polyurethane foam, processed with double sealing, anti-cold bridge. There is high-density sealing strip between the units’ wall panel and the frame. And unit inside is coated with a special sealant, after testing, the air leakage rate is not more than 0.5% under static pressure 1000Pa
(6) Fan blower and motor: Centrifugal fan (Forward curve and backward curve) and plug fan are for option; VFD motor is optional; Spring isolators are optional to install on the base of fan motor; Driven chain is used between driving motor and desiccant wheel
(7) Touch screen controller:

※Real-time display of operating parameters, real-time monitoring / control / modification of data
※Automatic fault diagnosis, can automatically display fault, alarm, real-time record
※Can realize the manual operation of air handling unit

(1) RDA Dehumidifier Functional Section
♣ This series has the rotary dehumidifier functional section only, which needs to work together with air handling units to achieve adjustment of the temperature and humidity
♣ It can be connected with the air handling unit by air duct, or direct combination
(2) RDB Basic Type Dehumidifier
♣ RDB basic rotary desiccant dehumidifier only can control humidity, can’t control the temperature
