High Alumina Insulating Castables
Introduction
High Alumina Insulating Castable Refractory, also called Lightweight High Alumina Insulating Castable, the proportions of the components alumina (AL2O3) is in the range of 45~80%, generally which is mainly used for linings of heating equipment such as heat insulating layer in high-temperature industrial furnaces. These materials have the advantages of medium-lightweight and good thermal insulation properties. Its excellent features of good mixability, strong adhesive property, long initial setting time and operable time in high-temperature construction, fast increasing of strength, strong anti-permeability, no need for acidizing, and easy for the mortar joint dense of brickwork can remarkably improve the air impermeability, integrality and lining corrosion resistance of chimney lining, which is the ideal cementing material of chimney stack, high-temperature flue, and air flue lining.
Basically, they are made of high alumina aggregate and powder, mixed with a binder and water reducer.

Applications
High-aluminum insulating castables are suitable for heating furnaces, soaking furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, rotary kiln; various high-temperature burner linings, heating furnace pipe packing linings, steel furnace scouring device components, and petrochemical catalytic cracking reactor High-temperature wear-resistant lining; blast furnace iron channel, iron furnace iron trough, hot metal pretreatment with the overall dust gun and other lining. It can also be used to make large prefabricated blocks and linings.
