Introduction
Fireclay Refractory Bricks are also called Chamotte bricks, which are manufactured from unfired refractory bond clay and fireclays (chamotte), fired refractory clay or similar grog materials . Fireclay refractory bricks have two main components namely 18 % to 45 % of alumina (Al2O3) and 50 % to 70 % of silica (SiO2) and about 7% of others.
High density, low porosity fire clay brick is our featured product in this category. Due to its low apparent porosity rate, it has great features of strong resistance to erosion, high refractoriness under load, great cold crushing strength, high mechanical strength, etc.
Properties of Fire Bricks
l Good resistance to corrosion and abrasion;
l Perfect thermal shock resistance;
l Good spalling resistance;
l High mechanical strength;
l Good volume stability under high temperature;
l Excellent thermal performance, and acid resistance;
Grades of refractory fireclay bricks
High Grade: 1482~1660℃
Medium Grade: 1315~1482℃
Low Grade: up to 950℃
