Product features and advantages
VOK®- SL 3566 is a surfactant, which can improve leveling and anti shrinkage properties, especially in water-based systems. However, the chain segment of silicone macromolecular monomer can promote the migration of the additive to the coating/air interface. It is also applicable to solvent based, 99.99% solvent-free and solvent based UV systems. It can improve the wettability and adhesion of the next coating to the coating with additives. In aqueous systems, VOK®- 3566 can improve the condensation of spray paint mist.

0.1-2% of auxiliary dosage (supply form) is based on the general formula, and the specific dosage depends on the specific application.

Adding method and processing guidance
The additive can be added at any stage of the production process as long as it can be uniformly dispersed in the system.
Special precautions
VOK®- 3566 will reach sufficient concentration at the paint/air interface, so as to improve the surface energy of the cured paint film. The heat resistance stability of polyether modified chain segment is limited. It will decompose at high baking temperature (such as 170 ° C, more than 10 minutes). Such baking conditions will affect the surface energy and adversely affect the recoating performance. VOK®- SL 3566 will not participate in the chemical reaction of the system, and the long-term effectiveness of improving the surface energy depends on the specific system.
