Features and Benefits
VOK ®- Disper 2155 is used to deflocculate and stabilize pigments through steric hindrance. They provide the same charge to different pigments, thus avoiding possible co flocculation of different pigments. Due to the deflocculation of the auxiliary agent, the gloss and tinting power can be improved, the transparency of the transparent pigment and the hiding power of the opaque pigment can be increased, and the viscosity of the color paste can be reduced.
Recommended Applications
Due to VOK ®- The high solid content of Disper 2155 is especially suitable for high solid content systems and floor paints, and has a very wide compatibility with all standard paint systems, such as alkyd resin, cellulose, polyol, chlorinated rubber, epoxy and polyurethane. VOK ®- Disper 2155 can well reduce the viscosity of color paste, thus increasing the pigment content in color paste.

Recommended dosage
Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:
Inorganic pigment: 5-10%
Titanium dioxide: 1-3%
Organic pigment: 10-35%
Carbon black: 15-75%
The above dosage depends largely on the particle size of the pigment, and a good dosage must be determined through a series of experiments.
Addition method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, the wetting dispersant should be added to the abrasive. In the case of resin free dispersion, the solvent in the abrasive must be premixed with the auxiliary agent in the stirring state before the pigment is added. If the resin is dispersed, the resin mixture, solvent and additives shall be fully and evenly mixed before adding the pigment.
Particular attention
The pigment after deflocculation has obvious sedimentation tendency. Especially on inorganic pigments with high density. Fluid rheology agent such as BKY-410 or VOK ®- 430 The addition in the grinding stage can prevent this phenomenon.
