Product features and advantages

The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance, and it also makes the pigment particles have charges of the same nature. The resulting repulsive effect and steric stabilization prevent the pigment from thickening, thus eliminating the problem of floating color and blooming in the system containing multiple pigments.

Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can obtain high gloss and enhance color strength. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments can also be improved. As the viscosity decreases, the leveling performance is improved, and the addition amount of pigment can be increased.

VOK ®- Disper 2025 can be used to disperse organic pigments and inorganic pigments. Due to the narrow molecular weight distribution of additives, they have good compatibility with many different base materials. Therefore, it is not only suitable for producing pigment concentrate slurry, but also suitable for co grinding. In acid catalysis and acid curing system, the additive has no negative effect on curing performance. In the baking system, even at high temperatures, there will be no obvious discoloration.

VOK ®- Disper 2025 can be used for grinding pigments with or without resins. The additive is applicable to both monochrome grinding and co grinding.

Recommended dosage

Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:

Inorganic pigment: 5-12%

Titanium dioxide: 1.5-2.2%

Organic pigment: 20-40%

Carbon black: 40-60%

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

Wetting and dispersing additives should normally be added to the abrasive, only in this way can the additives be fully effective. Pre mix the resin and solvent components in the abrasive, and then slowly add the auxiliary agent in the state of stirring. Pigments can only be added after the auxiliaries have been completely dispersed and uniform.
