Recommended dosage
0.5-2 % additive dosage (in supply form) based on total formulation.
The above recommended addition amount is for reference only, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests.
Incorporation method and processing guidance
VOK®-AP 996 R should be mixed and stirred with resins, curing agents, pigments and other additives at high speed, and then all extruded and discharged.
Liquid coatings
Product features and benefits
The additive adds slip to solventborne coatings and improves scratch, metal and dark heel marks. It also increases the hydrophobic properties of the coating.
Recommended use
Architectural coatings
Industrial coatings
Anti-corrosion coatings
Coatings for wood and furniture
Coil coatings
Recommended dosage 0.3-2 % additive dosage (in supply form) is based on total formulation. The above recommended addition amount is for reference only, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests. Addition method and processing guidance The additive is best added to the coating at a moderate shear rate at the end of the production process.
