Polyacrylate solution
Typical physicochemical data
The data presented on this data page is typical and not a product specification.
Density (20 °C): 0.95 g/ml
Non-volatile (20 min, 150 °C): 51%
Solvent: Solvent oil/diisobutyl ketone 9/1
Flash point: 45 °C
Application areas
Coatings and printing inks
Features and benefits
The additive improves leveling and gloss, creates a long-wave effect and prevents cratering. The acrylate additive only slightly reduces the surface tension without affecting recoating and interlaminar adhesion, and is thermally stable.
Recommended Use
The additive is recommended for solventborne and solvent-free coating systems, UV-curable printing inks and overprint varnishes.
Recommended dosage
0.1-1.5% Additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Addition method and processing guidance
The additive can be added at any stage of production, including post-adding. For better deaeration performance, it is recommended to add it during the grinding stage.
Room temperature curing plastic
Features and benefits
As an anti-crater and leveling aid, the additive can enhance the gloss; At the same time, due to its high molecular weight and non-polar structure, it reduces surface tension only slightly. The additive is thermally stable.
Recommended Use
The additive is recommended for all room temperature curing systems such as unsaturated polyesters and epoxy resins.
Recommended dosage
0.1-1.5% Additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
