German technical background Volcker VOK ®- DF 053 Defoamer


Silicone free defoamer, VOK, used to prevent foam formation of solvent based coatings during production, loading and application ®- DF 053 shows spontaneous defoaming performance and proves that there is no adverse effect on the adhesion between layers when recoating. VOK ®- DF 053 at VOK ®- DF 051/VOK ®- DF 052/VOK ®- DF 053 series is the most incompatible, so it has the best defoaming effect in both polar and non-polar systems. VOK ®- DF 053 is characterized by rapid and spontaneous defoaming, even at low dosage. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the possible reduction of transparency in the varnish system and the influence of the additive on shrinkage cavity.

Chemical composition: non silicone foam breaking polymer solution

Solvent: solvent gasoline/butyl hydroxyacetate/ethylene glycol butyl ether 71/8/1
