Automatic Testing
(1) The definition of softening point: the water bath or glycerin bath heats the sample at a specified temperature rate. A circle and a stainless steel ball are placed horizontally on the disk-shaped sample. Under the heating and the gravity of the ball, the circle will slide 25.4 mm , The sample temperature at this time is the softening point of the sample. It used to be manually operated, but it is now fully automated: it can automatically adjust the temperature and heat at a rate of 5°C/min, and detect the softening point of the two samples, compare it with the value in the storage, until the operator arbitrates.
(2) The micro-processing controller can automatically test and diagnose, allow the use of water or glycerin for testing, and send out an alarm and terminate the test (when the water temperature reaches 95°C, or when the glycerin temperature reaches 195°C);
(3) Photoelectric detector is used for softening point determination.
