HACB-10 Factory supply shaft mounted friction clutch and brake


HDCB combined pneumatic clutch and brake group is a popular air shaft structure, it is easy for mounted. This clutch and brake group has three kinds of working modes, it can be used as a clutch or brake flexibly.


Following is the three kinds of working modes of this HACB group:

1. Link status
Supply air pressure to clutch, clutch linked. Exhaust brake air supply, brake released, power input via driving disc, and output via shaft.
2. Brake status
Supply air pressure to clutch and brake, clutch linked and brake braked, so as to brake load end or prevent load end from rotating.
3. Idle status
Exhaust clutch and brake air pressure, clutch and brake released, shaft and load end run against resistance by inertia until stop.

HACB is the combined NAC clutch and NAB brake together, it can replace DSDP, HWCB, MWCB air chamber clutch-brake to be a clutch or brake as need.


HACB DSDP industrial clutch and brake unit is popular applied. NAC CSCP clutch and NAB BSB brake both equiped with cooling fan blade structure, it is good for heat dissipation during working, so as to reduce thermal and prolong brake pads and brake's service life greatly. 


On the other hand, there are two pieces of mounting plates on clutch part, it is convenient for this group fixing on flange panel. Shaft and shaft installation is easy and can save some installation space. There are three kinds of working modes are available. This is the detail structure of it:

From this technical data figures, we can see that this HACB clutch and brake combination is also air shaft installation. Its bore diameter is from 20-45mm. It is the combined of air friction NAC clutch and NAB brake, so it is also friction pads for linking or separation. This HACB rotating speed is stable 1800RPM. Clutch and brake are separated, clutch torque is 22-295N.m, brake torque is 50-274N.m.


Actually, HACB group is the combination of pneumatic clutch NAC and brake NAB, so its installation mode is also the combined of them. Shaft and shaft mounted, shaft and pulley,V-belt, chain are both available. Below is some of installation instruction for your reference:

In the installation procedure, above "a" size is very important. Its length should be in allowable range. On the other hand, the torque rod should be left extra length 2-4mm for safe usage.
