Air shaft gear clutch used in robot arm for joint connect

BTC pneumatic clutch is air shaft tooth plate, tooth and tooth plates structure is suitable for slow or standstill connect, while rotating in high speed and transmit high torque. It is with compact size, delivery high torque from driving part to driven part easily. 

BTC model pneumatic tooth clutch is through center axial hole key connected with driving shaft, flange end connects with driven tooth plate. Except shaft-shaft installation, shaft-belt pulley, shaft-chain wheel, shaft-gear wheel installation are also available.

This air shaft tooth clutch is composed of cylinder, piston, driving tooth plate, driven tooth plate, return springs and others.

Working theory of BTC model pneumatic tooth clutch:

Clutch is linked with air pressure, released by return springs. After supplying air pressure, piston pushes driving tooth plate to slide along the direction of axis, driving tooth plate compressed driven tooth plate to come into an integrated structure, clutch linked. Driving tooth plate and driven tooth plate are separated by return springs after exhausting air pressure, clutch released.
